51-year-old Hollywood actress and film director, Jodie Foster who had been reluctant to comment on her sexuality but acknowledged she was gay at the Golden Globes awards last year has finally married her girlfriend, Alexandra Hedison over the weekend.
The actress who had two children by IVF and got separated from her film producer partner, Cydney Bernard had the news of her marriage confirmed by her publicist to a
US showbusiness website.
In her Golden Globes speech, she paid tribute to Bernard, whom she described
as her “ex-partner in love”.
Her 44-year-old "wife", Ms Hedison was said to have been in a past relationship with the US TV personality, Ellen DeGeneres.
