Yesterday, it was a report of a Pakistani teenager who tried to smuggle into the country 25.400kg of heroin. Today, it is a Nigerian man who tried to smuggle 330g of heroin to America but was caught in India.
Report from India Times revealed that a Nigerian man named Ozioma Kenneth Odeomenan who was trying to export 330g of heroin concealed in ladies shoes has been arrested in New
Delhi India.
The heroin which is said to worth about $120,000 was to be exported to America but unfortunately for Ozioma, on the 14th of April, the India police got an anonymous tip-off
that a
Nigerian man carrying hard drugs was coming to the Janakpuri metro
station. A team of police officers laid a trap and apprehended Ozioma,
who was found with 330 grams of heroin cleverly concealed in the
specially
made cavities in the soles of women’s sandals.
Ozioma who is into the business of exportation of shoes from India to Nigeria relocated to India for business after his education in South Africa in 2009. As a result of the unsatisfying and disappointing profit his shoe business yielded for him, he abandoned it and was introduced
to drug trafficking business by another Nigerian identified as Ike. He later confessed he was heading to Mahipalpur to courier the
drugs to the US.
