2-Year-Old Boy Shot And Killed By His 3-Year-Old Sister

Friday was a day of celebration for many but a tragic incident for some as an Utah boy of 2-years was accidentally shot in the stomach with a rifle by his 3-year-old sister.

Report has it that the children's parents were at home when the gun discharged, and the boy's mother immediately called for help. The boy was rushed in critical condition to Logan Regional hospital for surgery, before being flown to Primary Children's Hospital, where he later died.

The Cache County Sheriff, Lt. Mike Peterson in a statement said;
"The gun had been used earlier in the day by the victim's father and was set down after returning home."

How Armed Robbers Raided 8 Streets, Destroyed Cars & Raped Women In Mushin, Lagos

The fear of Mushin is the beginning of understanding. For many years, Mushin had been amongst the terror zones in Lagos but this time, the story seems to be more pathetic as residents along 8 major streets in Mushin were sleepless and terrorized on Easter Monday.

Armed robbers numbering 60 attacked residents in Coker Lane, New Balogun, Euba, Ayonuga, Tiamiyu, Haruna, Ereko and Oyedele Street. The armed robbers who were said to be with strong ammunitions made their announcement with a warning shots around 12am before starting their house to house robbery until about 7am in the morning.

During the robbery incident which lasted for over seven hours, many properties were stolen, so many properties destroyed and many ladies and women were raped too. Little wonder, even the mosque on Coker Lane was not spared as the worshippers who slept in the mosque after a vigil, were also robbed by the hoodlums.

This shopping centre comprises of a cinema (Silverbird precisely), Shoprite Supermarket, department stores, banks, bars, restaurants, cafes, beauty shops/salons and also consist of the likes of Mr. Price, Nike, Apple, Adidas, PC Corner, KFC, Barcelos, Samsung, Sony, LG and so many others.

You not only get to see thes places in the mall, you get to see so many kinds of people trooping in and out. Those with one heel high; one heel low, the "ajebos", the "pakos", the "highlifers", the "wannabes", the romantic peeps holding each other is sensitive places (Ouch!)and so so many.

3-Month Old Baby Stolen By Woman ‘Who Came Visiting’ In Makurdi

 

At about 8:00pm on April 19, a three-month-old baby belonging to one Mr. Ikyavngi Imande was reportedly stolen by a woman who came visiting. This event which happened on Inikpi Street, High Level, Makurdi, Benue State has thrown the family of the baby to tears as the mother of the baby, Mrs. Msendoo Ikyavngi narrates:

“It was on Saturday evening around 8.00pm that Chichi, the girlfriend of my neighbour, Mr. Amos, came to my house, tricked my nanny and stole my baby. My nanny was with the baby and she was crying. So, Chichi came and took the baby for the purpose of making her to stop crying. She now sent my nanny to get water for her to drink.

“It was then that Chichi ran away with my baby right in my house. When this was happening, I had dashed out of the house to buy food  items.

“We have been seeing her recently and we felt she was a  friend.”

APC Begs Boko Haram To Release Abducted School Girls

 

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has made a passionate appeal to the abductors of the female students of Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, asking them to release the students immediately without conditions in the spirit of the Easter season.

In a statement by the party’s Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, at the dedication of the N150 million Catholic Church in his hometown of Oro, Kwara State yesterday, the party said the grievances of the abductors should have nothing to do with innocent school girls.

It therefore urged the kidnappers to free the girls who remain in their custody and cease forthwith all acts of violence against innocent citizens.

“Violence has never resolved any issue. Dialogue is always the preferred and civilised way to go in resolving any conflict, no matter how difficult.

“We are, therefore, calling on those who have been perpetrating unbridled violence to stop their despicable acts and renounce violence,” APC said.

Teenage Gay Brothel Uncovered In Delta

 

The Delta State Government having confirmed the reports on the gay men cult named "Yansh" involving teenage homosexuals, the Governor of the state, Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan on Sunday, April 20, 2014made this known in his Easter message to Deltans at the First Baptist Church, Warri, said teenagers aged 15 to 18 belong to the sect named Yansh.

Uduaghan further disclosed that the members of this cult live in rented apartments close to Enerhen Junction, Warri, where older men come to sleep with them. He said:

“These are our sons and men come to sleep with them. It is through the Edu Marshals Programme that we discovered them. We used to know about female harlots, now we have male harlots. Unfortunately they are young boys. There is much government can do, but there is more we can do as parent."

The governor challenged parents to be alive to the realities of today’s society as crimes committed daily were committed by children belonging to contemporary parents.

Uduaghan noted that the country was going through trying times and parents need to be alert and aware of their children’s activities.

Christian School Teacher Caught Having Sex With Underaged Student In Back Of Car Seat

24-year-old teacher of Florida Christian School, Eric Beasley who used sun visors and a shirt to obscure his vehicle windows while making out with a 14-year-old girl was arrested by the police.

Eric who is the 9th grade biology teacher of the victim not only admitted to inappropriate contact such as kissing and touching during school hours, he also admitted multiple sexual encounters with the student and told the investigators that he performed oral sex on the girl. He further narrated that he started a sexual relationship with her on Valentine’s Day and that they had sex several times in the car and at his apartment. *Oh dear!*

Abductors Of Borno South Senatorial Aspirant Demand N100m Ransom

 

The family members of renowned senatorial aspirant,  Stephen Madu Marama who was kidnapped on his way to Maiduguri from his village Marama have been contacted by the abductors who demanded a Hundred Million Naira (N1,000,000,000) ransom. *Now this is big money! Haba!!*

The contact which was made three days ago keeps Marama's family in a dilemma over the huge ransom as they have been trying to get the government involved but all attempts have failed.
"We have been trying to get help but it is not coming; I spoke with them personally and begged, but they wouldn’t listen."

One of the children of the victim (Bukar Madu) who spoke to the media reporters said:
 “Even if we get some buyers for all our properties, we cannot raise such huge sum for a ransom. 

“I have pleaded with them but they don’t want to consider our request; I feel as if I have already lost my father; all I am praying now is for divine intervention.”

“They told me that when next they call, they expect us to have the money and they would tell us where to take the money to or what to do with the money. I have never seen such an amount and I don’t think the whole family put together can raise such a huge amount.”

Funsho Williams Was Strangled To Death

John Obafunwa, Chief Forensic Pathologist of Lagos State has disclosed that Engineer Funsho Williams, former gubernatorial aspirant was strangled to death by his assassins.

Obafunwa who is a prosecution witness in the ongoing trial of the six suspected assassins said his findings were as a result of post mortem examinations on the deceased.

He said he was at the crime scene on July 27, 2006 at Corporation Drive, Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi at 5.30 p.m. following a call which informed him about the death. He said:

“I saw the body of a middle-aged man, identified by the family, having his hands tied and lying face down in a pool of blood on a dagger, wrapped with a newspaper.

“I covered the hands and taped it with a paper to prevent a foreign DNA, which may occur during the movement of the body, so as not to affect forensic investigations.

“I noticed that the room was scattered along with two other rooms which I checked before the body was moved to Creek Military Hospital and I left the hospital at midnight.

“During the post-mortem examination, myself and two other pathologists at Creek Hospital discovered a cut on the deceased’s forehead and bruises around his neck,”

Sunday April 13, 2014 was a day of broken records in UK as young parents of 12 and 13 years who met in a park over 2012  christmas welcomed their cute baby girl who weighed 3.1kilograms. The young mother who was 11-year-old when she took in and was still in primary school as at that time. is said to be in Year 7 in high school while her baby daddy who lives near her in North London is currently in Year 9.

The young mother who did not look pregnant keeps her classmates in school shocked as she was still attending lessons until last month. The child's birth had been registered on Tuesday by the mother of the 12-year-old who is 27 years and is said to be one of Britain's youngest grandmothers while the mother of the 27 year old grandmother who is 56 is now a great grandmother. !!Wow!!!

Nigerian Man Caught In India With 330g Of Heroin Concealed In Ladies Shoes

Yesterday, it was a report of a Pakistani teenager who tried to smuggle into the country 25.400kg of heroin. Today, it is a Nigerian man who tried to smuggle 330g of heroin to America but was caught in India.

Report from India Times revealed that a Nigerian man named Ozioma Kenneth Odeomenan who was trying to export 330g of heroin concealed in ladies shoes has been arrested in New Delhi India.

The heroin which is said to worth about $120,000 was to be exported to America but unfortunately for Ozioma, on the 14th of April, the India police got an anonymous tip-off that a Nigerian man carrying hard drugs was coming to the Janakpuri metro station. A team of police officers laid a trap and apprehended Ozioma, who was found with 330 grams of heroin cleverly concealed in the specially made cavities in the soles of women’s sandals.

Ozioma who is into the business of exportation of shoes from India to Nigeria relocated to India for business after his education in South Africa in 2009. As a result of the unsatisfying and disappointing profit his shoe business yielded for him, he abandoned it and was introduced to drug trafficking business by another Nigerian identified as Ike. He later confessed he was heading to Mahipalpur to courier the drugs to the US.

Another Attack: Boko Haram Kills Borno Monarch & 19 Others In Fresh Attacks

“They simply walked right into the palace of the monarch and shot him in his bedroom.”

About 20 villagers including a monarch were killed after gunmen, suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists, attacked two villages in different parts of Borno state on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, security sources and witnesses said.

In one of the attacks, the gunmen on Wednesday morning at about 7 a.m. stormed Wala Village, killing 18 villagers and injuring several others.

Wala Village is in Gwoza Local Government Area, some 130 km southwest of Maiduguri, the Borno capital.

A local government official, who does not want to be named for security reasons, said “We are in difficult times in Gwoza local government; deaths and killings has become a daily affair; 18 people were killed in Wala this morning by the Boko Haram gunmen”.

It kept me wondering how the Federal Government would be aloof of the happenings in the hospital. Some died and those that were fortunate to survive have been in various Government hospitals in Abuja. The president has visited, given instructions and many well meaning Nigerians have donated blood further to the request made by NEMA to save some fatal cases of blood shortage in some victims.

The injured victims in the hospital are complaining of hunger . For many Nigerians to have turned up few hours after the report of shortage of blood, then it means a lot care; why not those in authorities?

Report has it that so many food stuffs have been donated so why are the management of these hospitals hiding the food stuffs and other items distributed? Little wonder, the bloods donated so far might not be administered on these patients. #justasking

Blast Victims: The Hospital Only Gave Us Injection And Drips - Injured Victims Narrates The Ordeal Of How They Face Hunger In The Hospital.

 

Report from PremiumTimes revealed the shocking experiences the injured victims in the hospital had to face. No food No food!!! This is inhumane!

Shuaibu Abukabar was one lucky survivor of the Nyanya Bomb blast. According to him, he actually passed out and was amongst the dead bodies that were heaped in a truck till he signaled "life" and was removed.

Abubakar narrating the incident from when he regained consciouisness speaks;

“At first there was quietness and suddenly I saw smoke and fire, then I passed out,”

“After I fainted only to open my eyes and tried to turn only to find myself inside a truck with dismembered bodies, they noticed me and later removed me when they realized that I am still alive,” “As I am talking to you now, there is so much noise inside my head, I cannot move my legs, the doctors attended to me, gave me drips and medicine.”

At the Maitama hospital where Mr. Abubakar was being treated on Tuesday, he said he had to endure not only pains but the pangs of hunger. He had, on the day of the incident, missed breakfast, having left so early, and throughout Monday, ate nothing. The hospital provided nothing and he remained hungry until Tuesday morning when reporters visited the hospital.He said:

“I did not eat anything I was too weak to eat but at midnight I couldn’t sleep of hunger, the last time I ate was on Sunday evening, but there was no food provision. Some people from the mosque came here to give me bread and tea this morning, the hospital only gave us injections and drips. I am still hungry, broke and with no money.”

Rescued Baby From The Nyanya Blast Reunites With His Mother

10-month-old baby; Goodness (pictured left) who sustained minor injuries and a swollen eye in the Nyanya bomb blast was taken to the Asokoro Hospital while her petty trader mother, Gloria Adams who trades at the Nyanya bus stop was taken to the Intensive Care Unit of a separate hospital (Wuse General Hospital). Finally, mother and child reunites.

Baby Goodness' mother narrates to the staff of the hospital how she was carrying her baby on her back when the explosion occurred. She said;
“I cannot remember how I got here.  I only saw myself on the ground, turning and turning. Then someone came and removed my baby from my back.”

She added;  “I’m feeling better. Many have died; but I am alive. I give glory to God, for saving me and my little baby."

Baby Goodness is in good condition and is taken care of by her aunt, Maria Dominic.

We Need More Blood For The Nyanya Blast Victims – NEMA

 

During a press briefing at the headquarter of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Abuja on Tuesday, the Director General of the agency; Mr. Sani Sidi calls out to well meaning Nigerians to donate more blood for the injured victims as the number of the injured victims had risen to 133 against 124 which it announced on Monday.He said;

“I will like to further call on our fellow citizens to visit the following hospitals and donate blood which is needed for the assistance of the wounded persons.”

He  further revealed that one of the injured victims involved in the bomb blast died Tuesday morning , some were still in critical condition while others had been stabilised. He said;

“The casualty figure was 71 dead and 133 persons injured. A report received from one of the hospitals this morning confirmed the loss of one more life bringing the total to 72 deaths.”

19-Year-Old Pakistani Nabbed With N228m Heroin At MMIA, Lagos

 

Pakistani teenager of 19, Iftikihar Muhammed Arslan who was trying to smuggle 25 parcels of heroin weighing 25.400kg worth about 228 Million Naira was arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos.

Luck ran out of Iftikihar who claims to be a student of Punjab College in Pakistan when the said heroine was discovered in his luggage during the inward screening of passengers on board a Qatar airline flight.

The suspect who is believed to be working for a Pakistani drug cartel was said to have left Lahore, Pakistan with the drugs to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, then Doha, in Qatar, from where he connected to Lagos.

Iftikihar who speaks English fluently, confessed how he got the drugs. He said;
“I am a student of Punjab College and I am in Nigeria as a tourist because my friend told me that Victoria Island and Ikoyi are beautiful tourist centres. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the Lagos airport, the heroin was found in my luggage. This is my first time of coming to Nigeria and I had intended to spend a week or two.”

According to the NDLEA spokesman; Mr Mitchell Ofoyeju, the suspect was cooperating with the agency’s team of investigators.
