On Wednesday, two men David Ogundare and Ola Busari, aged 62 and 40 respectively, were docked at an Ota Magistrates’ Court for allegedly breaking into a church and stealing a copy of ‘Seventh Book of Moses’ and other valuables.
Ogundare and Busari, of no fixed addresses, are facing charges of stealing, conspiracy, breach of peace and malicious damages.
The prosecutor, Inspector Mustapha Abdulkareem told the court that the accused committed the offence on April 17, 2013 at 5.05am at Igbesa in Ota, Ogun State.
Abdulkareem said that the accused broke into the Holy Temple Church of God, Jah Compound, Igbesa and stole the ‘Seventh Book of Moses’ and other valuables worth N660,000 belonging to one Deborah Obadiah.
