Kefee Died Of Lungs Failure And Not Pre-Eclampsia
Contrary to the pre-eclampsia report of the death of gospel singer, Kefee, an official statement has been released by the UK publicist of the deceased who says she died of lungs failure and was not 6 months pregnant as report had it. See the statement below:
"On behalf of the family….It is with a great sadness but grateful hearts that we announce the passing to glory due to lungs failure this morning of our God’s mouth piece, chorus leader, daughter, wife, sister, friend Kefee Branama Queen … May her beautiful, gentle and precious soul rest in perfect peace. Amen!!
PS: In contrast to all earlier rumors and stories in circulation, I do state that Kefee wasn’t 6 months pregnant and neither did she have pre-eclampsia.

Branama Dance Queen, Kefee Is Dead
Kefee who began her music career at the age of eight while in her church choir was said to have been diagnosed of pre-eclampsia (pregnancy induced high blood pressure) and fell into coma after collapsing on a 14-hour flight on her way to Chicago for an event about two weeks ago.
Left to mourn her are her family members and her husband, Teddy Don Momoh.

38-Year-Old Man Electrocuted In Warri Central Hospital
There had been a detached wire lingering on the floor near the Blood Bank Department of the Warri Central Hospital, Warri, Warri South Local Area of Delta State. However, despite several warnings of risk of that wire, nothing was done and that entrapped a victim of 38 who got electrocuted by same wire.
On Tuesday night, 38-year-old Victor from Edo State who was on his way to Lagos from Port-Harcourt on a business trip decided to share the joyful news of the birth of a baby boy of his elder brother's wife. Branching off to the Warri Central Hospital to visit mother and child before he continues his journey to Lagos, he visited the maternity ward of the hospital where he accidentally stepped on the naked wire and got electrocuted.
All attempts to save him were unsuccessful as he was later confirmed dead at the accident and emergency ward of the hospital. Speaking to news men, a nurse in the hospital who pleaded anonymity said she had complained severally about the naked wire:
“I told them that the naked wire will kill somebody one day but they
did not listen to me, even when I tried to write, I was advised not to
write by a medical expert."
His body was later abandoned by his family for management of the hospital to take care of.

Some Chibok Girls Are Pregnant, Others May Never Return – Obasanjo
Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo seems to know so much about the abducted Chibok girls. During his interview on the Hausa service of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), he revealed that some of the abducted girls are pregnant while others may never return again. He further stated that the girls might have been separated and kept in different locations. (I share same idea with you sir). Obasanjo's speech to the BBC:
“I have ways of reaching them, (Boko Haram) but I have not been given the go ahead."
President Olusegun Obasanjo blamed the Federal Government
for not giving him the liberty to intervene in the abduction of the
Chibok girls.

Rather than use our vertical stripes of Green White Green flag, it projected the horizontal stripes of Orange White Green flag of Niger with an orange circle on the white in the middle.
You will recall that this is not the first time it is happening. The wrong flag was also displayed in the 2012 London Olympics, a women soccer match between North Korea and Colombia was delayed because the organizers showed the South Korean flag while introducing the North Korean team.
But why should such error occur at this time even when Niger did not qualify for the World Cup? Though the two neighbouring African nations; Nigeria and Niger share a 450-mile border and maintain friendly relations, the "ia" should always make a difference na. Kilode?.

Man Abducts Employer’s Child Over Unpaid Salaries In Ondo
Because of her father's refusal in payment of salaries, 20-year-old Grace Olusola was abducted by a 38-year-old male domestic staff of her father, Oke Omoloye. She was deprived of her liberty and also assaulted as she sustained injuries while being taken through the bush. According to Sergent Zedekiah Orogbemi (prosecutor of the case).
This incident which occurred on the Okitipupa-Igbokoda Road at about 11:00am on Monday, March 10, 2014 was heard in an Okitipupa Magistrates’ Court in Ondo State before Magistrate Funso Akintoye where a suspect who had been sacked abducted his employer's daughter in order to frighten her parents into paying his salaries.
On Tuesday, Oke Omoloye who is standing trial in court was arraigned on a two-count charge of abduction and assault. According to Orogbemi, the offence committed by the accused and two others at large contravenes sections 355 and 365 of the Criminal Code, Cap. 37, Vol. 1, Laws of Ondo State, 2006.
The accused, of no fixed address was however, granted bail in the sum of N200,000 and two sureties in like sum. One of which must be a civil servant on grade level 14 while the other must be a renowned trader. According to the Magistrate, both sureties must reside within the court's jurisdiction.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
The case till June 24 for further hearing.

24-Year-Old Emerges As UNILAG’s Best Graduating PhD Student
Pictured above is a genius who not only attained a PhD degree at age 24 but emerged as the best graduating PhD student in the Department of Mathematics, University of
Lagos.
24-year Hallowed Oluwadara was yesterday named one of the youngest Nigerians with such degree. He was able to attain such level of education with the help of the scholarship that was granted to him by the Deeper Life Bible Ministry and he says he remains ever grateful to the General Overseer of the church, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi.
He dedicates his achievement to God Almighty, his
parents and many other individuals and organisations, especially the
church, which he said made his academic journey a smooth one,
particularly with the provision of fund. He said:
“I did not have cause to work because I was sponsored by the
church and I lacked nothing which made my concentration much easier.
This award particularly is a victory for the field of Mathematics
especially as many people do not believe it is a field that could
transform the world."
“I hope in the nearest future, I can achieve the goal of securing
another PhD in Physics since my other degrees had always been in the two
fields.”

Man Stabs Ex-Girlfriends New Lover, Cuts Out His Heart, Eats It With Fork And Knife
Police spokesman, Frederick Van Wyk while speaking to Cape Times revealed that it was the neighbours in Cape Town’s Gugulethu township (incident scene) who alerted the police. He said:
“On the scene they found a suspect, a Zimbabwean national, busy eating the heart of a human with a knife and fork,”
"The woman at the centre of the love triangle told police that her former lover had visited the house where she was living with her current partner and they had chatted together before he gave her money to buy liquor and she left."
When she returned she found her partner, 62-year-old Mbuyiselo Manona, had been stabbed" Van Wyk said.
Neighbours alerted by the commotion said they had peered through the house windows to see the man cutting out Manona’s heart and eating it. One of the neighbours said:
“The whole situation was crazy. We were shouting at him to stop, but he did not listen,”
“Even when the police got here… the guys were scared to go in. They had to call for back-up.
“You can’t really blame them — how do you go into a room with someone dripping another person’s blood out of his mouth?”
Western Cape deputy police commissioner Sharon Jephta said the motive for the murder was “definitely a love triangle”.
The suspect was arrested and is expected to appear in court soon.(AFP)

Man Breaks Record On The Longest Ice Bath, Stays In Ice For Almost 2Hours
55-year-old father of five, Wim Hof from Holland has broken a record of longest ice bath. He stayed in ice for 1 hour, 52 minutes and 42 seconds and came out alive! As a result of this achievement, he has been nicknamed "Iceman" and he is so proud of it.
It has been revealed by experts that Wim Hof's brain was able to send messages to other parts of his body, telling them to keep warm hence his long stay in ice with no complication thereafter. Wim Hof the iceman said:
"I feel like I can control my own body as if I have a thermostat
that I can adjust when I need to. The most challenging record was
climbing Everest in just a pair of shorts.Swimming beneath the ice and
not finding the hole back was quite a frightening experience too.But I'm
confident enough because I know what my body can cope with.It is a
lifestyle that I have chosen to take therefore I train everyday wherever
I am.I don't bother with gyms, I just workout where I happen to be
whether it's in the garden or at home.It's a great honour to have the
nickname of Iceman, it makes me feel very proud of my achievements."

Teacher Joy Morsi Allegedly Raped Student Who Took A Date To Prom
Joy Morsi whose husband also works in the same school began her sexual relationship with the victim after she sent sexually explicit selfies to him and asked if he was a virgin. However, jealousy crept in when Joy discovered that her young lover was to take a date to prom. She allegedly raped him out of anger, insisting that the age consent in New York is 17 years old.
Joy got busted after the victim told a fellow student who told her mom that works in the school system.
Many students who spoke to the media about the allegations expressed surprise, but a senior (Bianca Racz) at the school told the Daily News the two were seen hanging out regularly. He said;
"I see them together all the time,”
“It’s not like they were sexual and touched each other, but they used to hug and stuff in the halls all the time.”
Morsi is charged with third-degree rape and third-degree criminal sex act.

Dora Nkem Akunyili Dies At Age 59
Until her death, she was a member of the ongoing National Conference, ex-minister of information and a former Director General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) of Nigeria.
As a pharmacist, she had gained international recognition and won hundreds of awards for her work in pharmacology, public health and human right.
May her soul rest in peace.
