7 Dead Babies Found In A Woman’s Home

A woman in Utah was arrested after police found the remains of seven infants that were gruesomely stored in different cardboard boxes in a garage.

39-year-old Megan Huntsman  is believed to have given birth to all of the babies between 1996 and 2006 before killing each and placing their bodies in separate boxes.

 

Hunstman's ex-husband was cleaning out the garage when he found a box that looked suspicious. After taking a glance at what was inside, he discovered a "full-term" baby. Absolutely bananas. He contacted police, and that one phone call opened a whole crazy can of worms when investigators discovered the bodies of six additional infants. All of the babies were found in the garage. 

 

Reportedly, the ranch-style home was split up into two apartments and is owned by the ex-husband's parents. According to Megan's neighbors, the woman has three daughters whose ages range from 13 to 20 years old. Megan's ex-husband is believed to be the father of the babies, but investigators are going to conduct DNA tests. Regardless, Megan is being charged with six counts of murder.

How Possible? Zamfara State Allegedly Has Less Than 10 Qualified Doctors

 

A governor aspirant of Zamfara state; Ibrahim Shehu Gusau (pictured above) who was a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) before he defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has revealed that there are only 10 qualified government-sponsored medical doctors serving in Zamfara State which has exposed the citizens to untold suffering and avoidable death as he says the successive administrations had failed the state.

Speaking during an interview programme “Hot seat” put together by the House of Representatives Press Corps in Abuja, Gusau said that Governor Abdullaziz Yari, the APC governor of the state had compounded the situation by failing to provide conducive working environment for doctors and nurses in the state who were left with no option but to seek greener pastures in other parts of the country.

He also added that apart from the poor state of health facilities and absence of qualified doctors, Zamfara was not faring better in terms of other amenities like road, water and educational facilities which he said has confined the state to the least educationally-developed state in the country.

Bomb Blasts In Abuja From 2010 To Date

 

The recent bomb blast of yesterday in Nyanya area of Abuja took many Nigerians to recount the previous blasts in the Federal Capital Territory. The incident of yesterday happens to be the 7th bomb blast in the Nation's capital since all this began in 2010. Below is a timeline of bomb blasts in Abuja:

December 31, 2010:

This was the New Year’s Eve bombing when fun seeking residents getting ready for the Ney Year relaxing, eating and drinking at a bar in a market close to the Mogadishu Military Barracks were hit by a bomb. Soldiers and civilians usually gather to eat at that market. 11 people died in the attack.

August 26, 2011:

The United Nations (UN) Building in Abuja was attacked in a deadly blast which left over 23 people dead and 60 injured according to the official records. The bomb was planted in a car which broke through two security barriers, crashed into the reception area of the building where it was detonated by the suicide bomber.

Killing Of 18 Years Old Leaves Bayelsa Community In Fear

 

The entire community in Amarata suburb in Yenegoa, Bayelsa state now live in fear of the unknown as the sad occurrence of the 18-year-old teenager who was chased by gunmen (4), flogged severally with machetes and shot to death in front of the APC chieftain's house still lingers.

The gunmen are said to be suspected cultist who were sent on a mission. While some of the indigenes in the community believe the killing might have a political undertone, others think it is as a result of a clash between cult groups.

This incidence led to locals running away for their safety. It has been reported that the owner of the house where the young man was killed was not at home at the time of the incident but was informed about the incident afterwards.

‘I Prophesied Abuja Bomb Blast’ – T.B Joshua (Video)

Prophet T.B. Joshua has released the above video saying he had warned Nigerians about the explosion in Abuja that killed 71 people, injured 124 yesterday before it happened during his live service at The SCOAN on November 10, 2013.

During the service, T.B. Joshua said:
“Listen to me, my people in Nigeria. Once again, take note of this: Our security should be vigilant. I am seeing a very big strike — explosion. They should take care of Abuja — capital. When I talk, you see me in a bad light.  But I will keep talking. I don’t need to say the state but I am saying it. This is what I am seeing happen in Abuja. They should pray. What can they do to capture this?”

EFCC Arrests Seven Nigerian Undergraduates Over Internet-Fraud

Seven (7) Nigerian undergraduates  between the age range of 21 and 29 years were on April 06, 2014 arrested  by the Economics and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over internet scam (Yahoo-Yahoo). They were arrested in two different houses at Lekki County Homes and Lekki Phase 1 area of Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos state following intelligence report about their illegal business. Items recovered from the suspects include: a Range Rover Evogue; Honda Crosstour , Mercedes Benz C 300 4matic, S 300 Mercedes Benz, Acura ZDX SUV, laptop computers, expensive phones and ipads. ****big boiz* Hehehe. Omawumi Moves Into N100million Lekki Home

Nigerian female artiste, Omawumi Megbele who recently acquired a brand new 2012 ML 350 Mercedes worth about N12.5million has also completed and moved into her Lekki Mansion.

In a chat with Encomium, she revealed that she spent over N100million on the home and that she completed it independently (all by herself). She said;
“The industry has been good to me. If I must tell you the truth, apart from some bad belle people, who are bent on bringing you down, there are people there to make you strong. I have had opportunities of making good friends in the industry.”

British High Commissioner To Nigeria Donates Blood to Injured Victims Of The Bomb Blast

Amongst the well meaning Nigerians who went to the Asokoro General Hospital to donate blood for the injured victims of the blast was the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Dr. Andrew Pocock.

PDP National Secretariat in Abuja Razed Down By Fire

At about 8:15pm last night, the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) headquarters in Wadata House, Wuse Zone 2 Abuja was on fire. Report has it that the section of the building which the party uses as its press center, was completely razed.

The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisah Metuh, confirmed the incident and said it was not sabotage, but electrical fault. He said the fire started from an air-conditioning unit in one of the cabins and had been put under control by men of the Federal Fire Service. He said:

“The PDP rules out any form of sabotage or attack and hereby wishes to inform all our members and teeming supporters that the fire has since been put under control,’’

Its a pity!

Nothing Can Make Me Cut My Dreadlocks — Phyno.

        
I was quite impressed when i came across this on Vanguard. Phyno who has had his dreadlocks for about Thirteen years now in a recent chat revealed that  nothing would ever make him cut his dreadlocks. He even opened up to say that someone had initially begged him with a Hundred Thousand Naira just to cut his dreadlocks, yet he refused. He said:

“Someone has actually begged me with a hundred thousand to have it cut. But nothing can make me cut it. It’s my identity, I’m a Rastafarian. I believe in living natural, the way God made me. I feel naked without my dreadlocks. When I was younger, my mum used to cut my hair and I used to feel so shy and naked. It gives me a lot of confidence”

Well Meaning Nigerians Troop to Asokoro General Hospital To Donate Blood

The National Blood Transfusion Service, NBTS, in Asokoro has seen a large turnout of Nigerians coming to the Asokoro General Hospital to donate blood to save Nyanya blast victims.

This turnout became increased massively shortly after the visit of the President to the hospital and after the report of shortage of blood in some injured victims. This is very commendable! See more photos...

At Least 71 People Have So Far Been Confirmed Dead, 124 injured - Abuja Emergency Relief Agency

Tweet from BBC Africa has confirmed that in the bomb blast which occurred this morning in Nyanya, Abuja killed at least 71 people and 124 have been confirmed injured and are receiving treatment in the Asokoro General Hospital in Abuja.

Pres Jonathan Cancels Trip To Ibadan And Visits Scene Of Abuja Bomb Blast

President Jonathan who was supposed to be in Ibadan to felicitate with the Olubadan of Ibadan who turned 100 years today had cancelled his proposed trip to visit the blast scene and thence, to the Asokoro General Hospital to see the injured victims of the attack who are undergoing treatment. While in the hospital, he directs the medical services to do their very best to save the lives of those injured in Nyanya bombing.

President Jonathan also extends his heartfelt condolences to bereaved families. However, there is a reported case of shortage of blood, blood donors are needed.

NYSC Member Brutally Murdered In Edo State

 

In Ekpoma, Esan West LGA of Edo State, it was reported that at about 9:00am over the weekend in a drinking spot along the Benin-Auchi road,  a serving male corp member of Asaba, Delta State named Osaro Edeghonghon while making his exit from the beer parlour, was accosted by assailants. Sensing danger, the corp member took to his heels but was chased by the said assailants who caught up with him, rained bullets on him till he was dead and in a pool of blood.

You will recall that two weeks ago, it was also at the same drinking spot that a woman murdered an aide to the Chairman of Esan‑West Local Government Area, leaving him to die in the pool of his own blood.  

However, the father of the deceased corp member, Mr. Patrick Edeghonghon had accused the police of  handling the case in a shoddy way and alleged that he was prevented from seeing a suspect arrested in connection with the murder.  He, therefore, appealed to the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Folusho Adebanjo, to intervene in the matter to ensure that justice was done.

70-Year-Old HIV patient Rapes Teenage Girl In Plateau

In Barkin Ladi Local Govt Area of Plateau State, a 70-year-old HIV positive patient who raped a 13-year-old girl last week Thursday was arrested by the police. The old man who is on anti-retroviral drugs was caught in the act of rape by the landlord's son who reported to the police.

Having being questioned at the station, he confessed that he truly committed the crime but later denied after some of his kinsmen told him to deny raping the minor. 

The Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Mr Chris Olakpe confirmed that the 70-year-old man is in police custody in Barkin Ladi, for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl but said he would be transferred to the headquarters in Jos.
