Obesere’s Wife Is Upset With Him Over His Allegedly Raping A woman And Inserting Ring In Her Private Part

In a new chat with Thenet.ng, Oyo State-born musical top Fuji musician revealed that no one else is as hurt as his wife and mum to his 5 kids over his involvement with businesswoman Olaiya who accused him of raping her and inserting a ring in her private part for rituals. His wife is very disappointed but Obesere insists this scandal will not affect his family.

When he was asked why he moved the case to State CID and about his wife’s reaction, Obesere told theNet:

Police officers in Isolo think I’m an illiterate simply because I am a Fuji artiste. I am not an illiterate and I refuse to be intimidated, which is why I asked for the case to be transferred. How can a girl accuse me of rape four days after sex? What is her proof? Since the case was transferred to the SCID, she has not reported to the station. If truly she was raped, she should come to the SCID with her proof. My wife Abike is angry with me, but I am her husband, so she will forgive me.

Obesere’s family is not the only thing being threatened.  His freedom and career will also be affected if he is found guilty as the Lagos State Criminal law prescribes life sentence as punishment for rape.

A Justin Bieber super fan who used to weigh 120kg lost practically half her body weight all in a bid to make her pop star idol notice her.

Now weighing 67kg , Bryanna Debinder, 20, shed an incredible 53kg in just a year after becoming jealous of the slim girls who were pulled on stage by Bieber during his concerts. So, she vowed to lose weight and embarked on a diet that has seen her looking more beautiful than ever before.

‘Every time I saw him pull up a pretty, slim girl on stage, I just thought: ‘that should be me’,’ said Bryanna, of Pennsylvania.

"Everyone deserves a chance to be noticed by the person they love, and i am his biggest fan. I just wanted to be the girl he sang to"

The psychology student said she also spent hours messaging Justin on Twitter, feeling a pang of jealousy when he replied to other girls’ tweets and never noticed her.

So, Bryanna cut out all of the junk food from her diet, and instead filled her fridge with fruit and vegetables. She also watched YouTube exercise videos and did sit-ups at home. In just 12 months, she lost an impressive 53kg and has dropped seven dress sizes to a UK size 8.

Super Eagles Star, Brown Ideye Robbed Of Valuables Including His Ukraine Work Permit

Mohawk Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye, who is presently plying his football trade in Ukraine, is having a bad time now. This is as a result of the loss of some vital documents belonging to him to some robbers. 

It was gathered that Ideye was robbed on Sunday evening right after his club, Dynamo Kyiv, played a friendly match with Goverloj.

After the match, Ideye went with his friends to have dinner in a restaurant at the heart of Kiev, Bessarabia Square. 

According to him, when he returned, he found out his car had been broken into and a bag containing vital personal documents of him stolen.

13 Feared Dead in Lagos Boat Mishap

According to the National Emergency Management Agency NEMA, about 14 bodies have been recovered after a boat capsized at around 11 p.m. on Tuesday at Festac Town, Lagos.

A distress call was reportedly made to the Navy and the National Emergency management Agency asking for rescue. NEMA sources told reporters that some bodies have been recovered so far.

The boat carrying 15 passengers reportedly capsized opposite 41 Road in Festac around 11: 30 PM. Recovered corpses include 12 men, one woman, and a girl.

Pastor Cuts Off 2-Year-Old Girl's Fingers In Yaba

A 49-year-old pastor named Moyo Martins was on Tuesday, arraigned before the Magisterial Court in Yaba for allegedly cutting off the fingers of a 2-year old girl, Sadiat Faleye. 

Last week Thursday, Sadiat’s mother left her in the company of the man to quickly go and have her bath. But after about 5 minutes neighbours alerted her that they heard a loud cry of pain from her daughter and she quickly rushed out in panic. On getting to the man’s room she found two of her daughter’s little fingers lying on the floor including the ring on one of the fingers.

The girl was quickly rushed to a private hospital for medical attention so she could stop losing blood. Mr Moyo denied ever knowing anything about her chopped off fingers, but when the police came for him, he confessed he sawed off the fingers in his room. He appealed to the mother of the little girl to forgive him because it happened in error.

OPC Rescues 14-Year-Old Raped Teenager (A Sad Incident)

Members of the O’odua People’s Congress, OPC, and concerned Lagosians have rescued a teenager (name withheld), who was raped, robbed and abandoned by an unidentified man in Agege area of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.

It was learnt that the OPC members saw the secondary schoolgirl on Sunday, 9 March in a traumatized state at a public toilet near NITEL Office, at Oko Oba, Agege. And after giving her first aid treatment, the teenager was handed over to the police at the Agege Elere Police Divisional Headquarters, who referred her to Orile Agege General Hospital,  Agege for a comprehensive medical treatment. 

Mother sells three-day-old baby for N260,000

As reported by PUNCH, pictured above is Imaobong Udoh who "willingly" sold her three-day-old baby to a woman for N150,000 while N110,000 was given to the homeopathic doctor who arranged the sale.

"The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested a nursing mother, Imaobong Udoh, for allegedly selling her three-day old baby girl.

Also arrested along with Imaobong were four persons for allegedly participating in the theft of the baby.

They are the buyer, Mrs. Regina James; her husband, Mfon James; the traditional birth attendant who delivered the baby, Mrs. Comfort Henry; and Mr Emmanuel Okon, a homeopathic doctor, who arranged the sale.

Whilst some Nigerians were still recovering from valentine’s day celebrations, ace broadcaster Aisha Falode learned that she tragically lost her son Oloruntoba Oluwadamilola, who was victim of an apparent murder in Dubai. 

He was laid to rest on Monday, March 3rd as loved ones agonizingly laid him to rest at the Ikoyi Vaults and Gardens in Lagos.

His mother, still traumatized read this touching tribute:

I held you in my arms and my heart burst into a million pieces of joy. It was an indescribable moment. You were adorable as I touched every bit of you. Giddy with joy, I counted your toes, your fingers, tiny and wriggly; a tough bundle of joy. 

World Oldest Woman Talks About Her Favourite Food

Yesterday was the 116th birthday of the oldest woman presently living in Japan. Misao Okawa who is regarded as world's oldest person in an answer to a question on life's longevity says Plenty of sleep and a varied diet are the secrets to a long and healthy life.

Amongst all women born in the 19th Century, Okawa is one of only five that are confirmed alive. Not being so fastidious about food, Okawa speaks of Mackerel Sushi which she eats at least once a month.

According to an employee of the nursing home where Okawa has lived for the past 18 years, "She eats sushi, her favourite, and whatever she likes beef stew, spaghetti, or sashimi every day,"

Okawa, who became the world's oldest person last June following the death at 116 of fellow Japanese Jiroemon Kimura, was given a cake with just three candles at her nursing home in Osaka , one for each figure in her age.

In 1898, the year Okawa was born, the Spanish-American war was in its infancy and Queen Victoria was still on the British throne. Okawa married in 1919 but her husband died in 1931, more than eight decades ago. Their marriage produced three children, two of whom are still alive and in their 90s. Okawa has four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

FG Closes 5 Federal Government Colleges In The North

 

The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike made the announcement yesterday, Wednesday 5th March, 2014 on the closure of five(5) Federal Government colleges located in Northern Nigeria, precisely; Yobe, Borno and Adamawa.

The schools were closed because they were considered to be located 'within the high security risk areas in the North.'. (Basically because of the killing of the college students in FGC Yobe).

The schools that were shut down are:
1. Federal Government Girls College, Munguno
2. Federal Science and Technical College, Lassa in Borno
3. Federal Government College, Potiskum
4. Federal Government College, Buni Yadi in Yobe
5. Federal Science and Technical College, Michika, Adamawa.

The schools will remain closed until the security situation in the states improves, while the teachers of the affected schools will be sent to new schools.

Kano State governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso yesterday alleged that President Goodluck Jonathan gave the 16 governors who voted for Plateau State governor Jonah Jang at last year’s Nigeria Governors’ Forum election N2 billion each.

According to him, while the 16 pro-Jang governors were financially gratified to do the presidency’s bidding, the other 19 governors who voted for Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi were left with nothing at all.

Kwankwaso stated this at a meeting between him and a team from the secretariat of the NGF on peer review mechanism led by the forum’s director-general, Mr Ashishana B. Okauru, at Government House, Kano.

The governor said, “Each of the 16 governors that voted Governor Jang has benefited from N2 billion from our own money given to them free of charge. All of us from Amaechi side were given nothing. That is not being fair, that is not even correct and it is illegal.”

The Fuji artiste allegedly used his ‘contacts’ in the police to have the case transferred to SCID, so as to avoid been dragged to court if it’s left at the Isolo Police Division.

We gathered that the embattled musician preferred the SCID to the Isolo Police division because the DPO at the Isolo Police division was not co-operating regarding striking out the case.

Oba Dosunmu is claiming that former president Olusegun Obasanjo knows his correct birth date but won’t disclose it to anybody.

Dosunmu, who described Obasanjo as his “close friend” and “Balogun Owu,” noted that the former president decided to keep the date to himself but was in the habit of telling people he was “born in Ibogun a day before Ifo market day.”

400 level OAU student commits suicide after being jilted by female lover

Here is an update of the 400 level OAU student who committed suicide (Read it HERE ).

Ige Dipo who reportedly committed suicide did so after he was jilted by his female lover.

Dipo, a member of Christ Apostolic Church fellowship on campus, is said to have ingested poisonous which led to his death.

The woman he was dating had been financing his education before she allegedly broke up with him due to his poor background.

Sources with knowledge on the matter said Dipo who was usually a loner withdrew into his shell even more after being emotionally traumatized by the incident.

The above average student threatened to take his life should his ex-girlfriend not accept his overtures for reconciliation and eventually did take his own life after he was rebuffed.

Dipo’s suicide note left for his father reads in part: “Father, while reading this message, I would have been gone.”

21-year-old woman arraigned for allegedly kidnapping a month-old baby

A 21-year-old woman, Ronke Odelabi, of Kolara Area, Ogbomoso, Oyo State absconded with her neighbour's one-month-old baby to Ogbomoso where her parent-in-law reside just to deceive them that she had given birth to a baby.

The mother of the child, Funke Olowokere, resident of Oja-Oba area, Ilorin, said that, on Feb. 2, she gave her child (name withheld) to the accused, who was her co-tenant, while she was busy washing clothes
.
She said that when she finished washing, she discovered that Ronke had absconded with the child to unknown destination and all efforts to contact her through her phone number proved abortive.

Obasanjo disclosed this in Abeokuta while expressing gratitude to those who attended his 77th birthday ceremony;
“There are some people including me who do not know their exact birthday."
“My mother only told me that I was born on Ifo market day."
“According to her, in our village, she had prepared to go to Ifo market and Ifo market is every five days."
“She said as she was preparing, she fell into labour and before those who went to Ifo market returned, I was born."
“Don’t ask me what month or what year."
“Whether I know the exact date or not, I think God has made my path to be glorious,” he said.

BUSTED: Bride, 22, arrested in London while attempting to wed 4th Nigerian man

  

A 22 year old lady; Raquel Neto Furtado De Andrade who is in the habit of exchanging permanent residence in Britain with money by virtue of marriage has been arrested. She had already married three Nigerian men just to help them reside permanently in Britain while she collects cash in return.

Andrade got busted when she was trying to wed the fourth time and was caught by the police before she could tie the knot.
