Alleged Female Kidnapper Stripped Naked And Paraded In Ogun State

He who is without sin should be the first to cast the stone. Jungle justice has become the order of the day in this country and it is high-time the government do something about it! the young lady pictured above is a suspected kidnapper who was caught while trying to kidnap a child who was left alone at home.

This incident which occurred in Odi-Olowo street, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state is not even the tenth (10th) we would be hearing of in the past few months. It was said that while the woman was trying to kidnap the home-alone kid, a witness made an alert and made the angry mob strip her naked, beat her terribly and as if that was not enough, she was paraded naked for over two hours.

Luck was on her side when the police got an alert of this and rescued her. This is a sad incident and Nigerians are yet to learn from the ALUU 4 incident. So sad! See another photo after the cut...

Meet the World's Strongest Brothers of 7 & 9

Giuliano and Claudiu
These kids look stronger than some adults and all thanks to their father. Nine-year-old Giuliano Stroe and his younger brother of seven-years, Claudiu are made to go through two-hour body works and weigh lifting every morning by their 35-year-old father, Iulian Stroe.

Don't be surprised at their six packs because they have been weigh lifting since they were toddlers  and nine-year-old Giuliano has already broken two world records for 90-degree vertical pushups and holding on to a pole like a human flag respectively.

I doubt if these kids would grow as normal kids. They might have stunted growth or might not. *idunno

Lies About Being The Leaders Of Tomorrow

Growing up as a child, i was so conversant with these words; "you are the leader of tomorrow". Many of us must have heard same severally while growing up. I can even remember that song i used to sing in my days of primary education; "parents listen to your children, we are the leaders of tomorrow....". It bothers me to ask; did our teachers and parents lie to us about being leaders of tomorrow? Or could it be that tomorrow has not yet come? (i leave that to you to answer).

Little wonder, the leaders of the past have finally become the leaders of the present and possibly tomorrow!

In 1985, Ibrahim Babangida (IBB) was the president of Nigeria then and our teachers told us that Buhari was the former Head of state. Our teacher also called us "the leaders of tomorrow" . Ironically, 29 years later, IBB & Buhari are still contesting for Presidency.

In 1983, Bamanga Tukur was the Governor of the defunct Gongola State (now Adamawa &Taraba) and 32 years later, he was the Chairman of the ruling Party, The PDP.

Dr. Bello Halliru was commissioner in the old Sokoto State (now Sokoto, Kebbi  and Zamfara), 35 years after, he is today Minister of Defence.

Major General David Mark (rtd) was the military governor of Niger State in 1984 and 30 years later he is today the Senate President.

Gov. Murtala Nyako was the governor of Niger State in 1976 and 38yrs later he is today the Governor of Adamawa State.

Dr Ogbonnaya Onu was governor of Abia State in 1992 and 22 years after, he is today the National Chairman of ANPP.

Gov. David Jonah Jang was the governor of Benue State in 1985 and 29years after he is today the governor of plateau state.

A man of over 75 years is a governor in Nigeria and has been there since 2007. It is happening in Ebonyi State. Martins Elechi who is over 75 years is presently the Ebonyi State Governor!

It is only in Nigeria that such is possible, where the youths of today have no hope into the future! From strike in health sector, to labour, to judiciary, to Education and today our students are home lavishing!

Let Nigerian youths come to an alliance and fight for the unborn. We can't continue like this!

Retirement Fraud: Governor Akpabio Seeks N200M Annual Salary, Mansion, Lifetime Life Of Luxury After Leaving Office

According to Sahara Reporters:

Barely a year to his exit from office, Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State has initiated a law to enable him pocket a whooping N200 million in annual pay after his tenure expires.
Mr. Akpabio is also  demanding other benefits including a new house, brand new cars, furniture and luxurious living for the rest of his life.

The controversial law, which was exclusively obtained by PREMIUM TIMES, is known as Akwa Ibom State Governors and Deputy Governors Pension Bill 2014.
If passed by the assembly, the bill would repeal the Governors and Deputy Governors Pension Law, 2006. PREMIUM TIMES is still trying to obtain the 2006 law which was initiated by ex-Governor Victor Attah, also about a year to the expiration of his tenure.

To underscore the urgency of the proposed law, the Governor has indicated that he wanted it passed hurriedly so it could come into force on June 1.
Mr. Akpabio transmitted the bill to the assembly through a May 15 letter with reference number  GHU/AKS/S/104/338.

The proposed law, which is now receiving accelerated hearing from the rubber stamp  state House of Assembly, was received by Acting Clerk of the assembly, Mandu Umoren, on May 19.
When passed into law, Mr. Akpabio and former democratically elected governors of the state and their deputies as well as indigenes of the state who served in similar positions in Cross River State, will pocket several millions in monthly retirement perks.

Based on Section 1(1) of the bill, “An indigene of the state who has held office as a democratically elected governor or deputy governor of former Cross River State and a person who has held office as a democratically elected governor or deputy governor of the state shall when he ceases to hold office be entitled,” to the new perks.
Although similar laws have been passed by many Nigerian governors including those of Lagos, Rivers, Bauchi and Benue states, among others, Mr. Akpabio’s version is clearly the most ludicrous.
Under the proposed law, Mr. Akpabio and others listed in Section 1(1) are entitled to a monthly pension for life at the rate equivalent to his current salary.

Similarly, the serving deputy governor, Valerie Ebe, is entitled to a monthly pension for life at the rate of her current salary.
Mr. Akpabio and his deputy; Mrs. Ebe will therefore pocket a total of N2, 223, 705. 00; and N2, 112, 215, 00 respectively as monthly and a total of N26, 684, 460,00  and N25, 346, 580 respectively as pension, per annum.

This is based on approved remuneration package for state executive and local government executives by the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC.
The governor is also entitled to a new official car and a utility vehicle once every four years, one personal aide and the provision of adequate security for his person during his lifetime at the expense of the state government.

Akwa Ibom taxpayers are also expected to provide an amount not exceeding N5 million or an equivalent of $50,000.00 monthly for Mr. Akpabio to engage the services of a cook, chauffeurs and security guards.

This provision is in contrast with Section 1(b) of the bill, which indicates that security shall be provided to former governors during their lifetime at the expense of the government.
However, the deputy governor is entitled to N2million naira or an equivalent of $20,000.00 monthly allowance to hire cooks, chauffeurs and security guards.
Mr. Akpabio and his spouse are to also access free medical services at a sum not exceeding N100 million or an equivalent of $600,000.00, while the deputy and her spouse will pocket N30 million or an equivalent of $200,000.00, annually.
Based on budget figures from the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, NPHDA, and the Millennium Development Goal(s), MDG, the amounts set aside for the two government functionaries to access medical services could build and equip two state-of-the-art health centres and two blocks of classrooms in the state.

Section 1(e, f, g, h, I j) of the bill wants Mr. Akpabio and other past governors entitled to a “Provision of a befitting house not below a 5-bedroom maisonette in either the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja or Akwa Ibom State for the Governor and a yearly accommodation allowance of 300 percent of annual basic salary for the deputy governor; (300 percent of the deputy governor’s basic salary is N6, 336,645).

“Provision of furniture allowance of 300 percent of annual basic salary once in every four years; (A total of N6, 671,115 for the governor and N6, 336,645 for the deputy)
“Provision of yearly maintenance and fueling of vehicle allowance of 300 percent of annual basic salary; (A total of N6, 671,115 for the governor and N6, 336,645 for the deputy)
“Provision of severance gratuity allowance of 300 percent of annual basic salary as at the time the officer leaves office; (Another N6, 671,115 for the governor and N6, 336,645 for the deputy)
“Provision of yearly utility allowance of 100 percent of annual salary; (with the governor taking N2, 223,705 while his deputy takes N2, 112, 215)
“And provision of entertainment allowance of 100 percent of annual basic salary; (Another N2, 223,705 for the governor and N2, 112, 215 for the deputy).”

According to Section 2 of the proposed law, a former governor or deputy who received severance gratuity under Akwa Ibom State Public and Political Office Holders (Remuneration) Law, 2000 is not eligible for any other severance pay.
This means that former Governor Attah will enjoy the sumptuous retirement perks but will not be entitled to severance pay since they had been paid based on the provisions of the 2000 law.
Where a former governor or deputy governor dies, the bill provides that the state government makes adequate arrangement and bear the financial responsibility for the burial.

The government is also expected to pay a condolence allowance of a sum equivalent to the annual basic salary of an incumbent to the next of kin.
One surviving spouse of the governor is entitled to a medical allowance not exceeding N12 million per annum provided such spouse was married to the governor at the time he or she was in office or if a wife had served as First Lady.

Unless on health grounds, a former governor or deputy who resigned his office, or impeached or who had not held office for a period of three years or more, is not entitled to benefit from the provision of the proposed law.

Update On The Woman Accused To Be A "Witch Bird" In Ajegunle

The woman
The woman accused to be a flying witch bird (read here) has finally been vindicated. Two sons of the old woman who read about their mother on the newspapers visited the command headquarters in Ikeja (where she was transferred for further investigation) and declared to them that their mother whom they had been in search for is not a witch as she has been missing from home for some days now.

Despite the old woman's confession of being a witch who flew in from a meeting in Ibadan, Oyo State to Lagos in form of a black bird but lost her way, got tired of flying and landed on the ground, the police released her to her said sons. A police man said:

"This morning (Thursday), two men came to the command claiming that they were the sons of the woman. The men said their mother was not a witch and were very angry with the manner the rumour was spreading.

“They said they were shocked that youths could attack an old woman in her 80s and they were even asking for justice because the woman sustained bruises on her head.”
The men, who said they lived in the Iju Ishaga area of the state were said to have been puzzled as to how their mother walked all the way to Ajegunle.
Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide said that the woman was not a witch and warned residents of the state against jungle justice. She talks about the woman's release:

“Yes she has been released to her son. The family said due to her old age, she was very ill and was brought from Ibadan to Lagos to stay with one of her sons.
“The woman’s daughter-in-law said she went to buy drugs for her nearby, but by the time she returned home, the woman had left the house.”

Nine Fulani Herdsmen Gang-Raped A 15-Year-Old Girl And Two Housewives In Benue

HERDSMEN
Yesterday, in Tse Ikyuver, Yandev, Mbagwen, Guma Local Government area of Benue State, about nine (9) suspected Fulani herdsmen allegedly gang raped a 15-year-old girl and two housewives at gunpoint.

The said Fulani herdsmen did not only beat and rap them, they also made away with their monies (N60,000) and two phones. Sadly, the teenager who was most affected was thoroughly beaten and raped to the extent that she could neither walk nor talk.

The two adult victims (housewives) further disclosed their ordeals and spoke at intervals while in tears. Thus;
"The men with their leader came to our home in the afternoon and pleaded that we give them water to drink.

“We obliged them, but they noticed the absence of our husbands, and when their leader asked of our husband’s whereabouts, we innocently told him that they travelled but would be back much later.

“After drinking the water, they left, only for about nine of them to come back later in the day, armed with guns and machetes and asked us to lie down and have sex with them or they will kill everybody.”

“After defiling us, they beat us mercilessly and collected over N60,000 from us and also took away our handsets.”

The women who identified the leader of the gang as a well known man in the community said he fled from the area with his family and cattle shortly after the incident. Report from a police source reveals that one of the suspects had been arrested while the hunt for the leader of the gang and seven others had begun.

The victims have been taken to an undisclosed hospital in Makurdi for medical attention.

10-Year-Old Girl Raped In School By 8-Year-Old Classmate And His Sister

Parent's worst nightmare: The mother of a 10-year-old Oklahoma City girl says her daughter ran out of school crying and said she was raped by a brother and sister
What do little children know about rape? This is getting so traumatising even for adults let alone kids! In Edgemere Elementary in Oklahoma, a 10-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her junior of two-years (8-year old boy) and his sister inside a bathroom in their school.

The alleged victim’s mother says while she was waiting to pick her daughter from school after school hours, she saw her little girl running towards her in tremble, crying and shaking. When asked, she replied: ‘Mama, they touched me down there.’

Narrating the incident to her mum, the 10-year-old said she was cornered by a female classmate and her 8-year-old brother who pulled down his pants, undressed her and raped her while his sister (her classmate) acted as an accomplice by holding her down.

Painful Testimony Of Deborah Peter Whose Father And Brother Were Killed By Boko-Haram, She Was Told To Lie Between Their Corpses

 US-Exile-Deborah-Peters
This will bring tears to your eyes when you read the traumatic pain of a teenager whose father and brother got shot by men of the Boko-Haram sect. She opened up on this bitter story which was told before the committee on Foreign Affairs, U.S House of Representative on Wednesday, may 21, 2014
when she heard of the abducted Chibok girls! #sosad #tears

Deborah Peter's story:
"My name is Deborah Peter and I am the sole survivor of a Boko Haram attack on my household.

On December 22, 2011 at 7pm, my brother and I were at home when we started hearing some guns shooting. My brother called my dad and told him not to come home because some people were shooting guns. But my dad said he should not worry because it was not the first time he had come home when people were fighting. When my dad came home, he said that he was going to take a shower because he was hot.

At 7:30 pm, three men knocked on the door. My brother answered the door because he recognized one of the men as a Muslim in our community. The men asked where my dad was and I told them that he was in the shower. The men waited. After three minutes, they went into the bathroom and dragged my dad into the main room. They said that my dad was wasting their time and that they did not have time to wait on him. The men told my dad that he should deny his Christian faith. My dad told them that he would not deny his faith. They said that if he did not deny his faith they were going to kill him. My dad refused, saying that Jesus said whoever acknowledges Him in front of man, He will acknowledge in front of God; and whoever denies Him in front of man, He will deny in front of God in heaven. My dad said that he would rather die than go to hell fire. After he told the men that, the men shot him three times in his chest.

Old Woman Who Confesses To Be A 'Witch Bird' Rescued From Lagos Mob

Yesterday, May 21, 2014, in the Ajegunle area of Lagos State, a black bird which was hovering around and landed on the ground suddenly transformed to an old woman of about 80 years who had blood gushing out from her forehead.

Jungle justice was about to take its place as hundreds of residents who gathered around the woman was about to lynch her until the traditional ruler of Layeni Community, Baale Rafiu Olayeni, arrived the scene and thereafter, invited the police who finally came to her aid, rescued her from the angry mob and took her to the police station. It was learnt that the unsatisfied crowd joined them to the police station.

According to an eyewitness who is also a resident of that area, while he was sitting outside a compound with his girlfriend, they saw three troubled fighting black birds flying around until one of the birds fell into a moving van belonging to the Eko Electricity Distribution Company while the other two flew away. He said:

“The bird suddenly turned to an old woman of about 80. People were shocked as they saw the woman rolling on the road and blood gushing out from her forehead.

“When the crowd was interrogating her, she said she was a witch and that she came from Ibadan for a meeting in Lagos but as they were returning home they missed their way and wasted so much time hovering in the area till daybreak. The woman claimed she fell because she was tired of flying.”
